SSDC: Dr. Pam Galloway Turns Her Cheek Away from Infant Mortality Crises
Madison - In a stunning feat of out-of-touch ideologues, the Joint Legislative Council Committee turned down a chance to help reduce the infant mortality rate and save the lives of thousands of children across the state for their own political gain. The Joint Legislative Council Committee is comprised of 22 legislators from both chambers and both parties.
Zac Kramer, Executive Director had this to say about the Committee’s decision, “Dr. Pam Galloway’s decision to vote party line just goes to show how out of step she is, not only to her constituents, but as a medical doctor.” Kramer continues, “I’m at a loss for words with Pam and her voting record. Pam continues to appease her party bosses and the special interest groups in Madison and not the citizens of her district. This is the reason why over 21,000 people signed the recall petition and will ultimately take back their district.”
Local recall committees have forced recall elections against State Senators Galloway, Moulton, and Wanggaard because of their votes to eliminate bargaining rights for public employees, increasing taxes on the middle class, while simultaneously handing out hundreds of millions of dollars in tax breaks to the wealthy and corporations.
