SSDC:  Zac Kramer Statement on Mortgage Fund “Hijacking”

Madison - “Governor Walker and his buddies in the state legislature continue to “hijack” funds to fill in the budget gaps they created with their draconian budget.  Time and time again, we see the state senate walk hand in hand with Governor Walker, instead of trying to fix the budget problems they created.  Senators Van Wanggaard, Terry Moulton, and Pam Galloway had a chance to stop this on the floor of the senate, but decided that their party bosses were more important than the tax payers they represent.  We need to work together to fill our budget shortfalls that affect hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites.  We need to stop with the partisan politics, and have open dialogue to complete the job that the citizens of Wisconsin elected us to accomplish.”
